Bringing Back the Big V
May 19, 2008
Victorian football fans experienced something unique last weekend, the opportunity to cheer for Jonathon Brown, Adam Goodes, Ryan O’Keefe, Daniel Bradshaw and Luke Power, and it was sensational. Almost 70,000 fans turned out at the MCG for a match that had no backbone, it had no soul, it was without consequence, it undeniably lacked heart. Imagine how supported the concept would be if it actually mattered. But how can we make it matter? [Read more]

Nick Stevens and Brendan Fevola are set to play milestone games in this weeks clash against Brisbane on Saturday night at Telstra Dome. Stevens will finally play his 200th game after missing most of last season with a neck injury which was feared as a potential career ending injury. REB’s Rubbish: Round 8
May 16, 2008
The football season starts for the second time with the break coming at a handy time for clubs such as the injury ravaged Saints but other clubs such as Freo would probably have preferred to have a kick last week. REB’s Rubbish: Round 7
May 2, 2008
On a bit of a roll in recent weeks as back to back eights has me on 38 points for the year (36 winners only of course) but according to some that makes me one week closer to a complete and utter wipeout. Looking at this round there are a couple of jagged rocks that could yet sink the good ship tipster. Will the Eagles fire up seeing Juddy return to the West in a Carlton jumper? Can the Power win in Victoria without the Chadmeister? [Read more]
