The Year of the Retiree

What an amazing season it has been and as it comes to the end so does many players football careers. 2007 has seen an incredible amount of players announce their retirement and amongst these we see plenty of legends leave our game. The departure of players like James Hird, Glenn Archer, Nathan Buckley, Anthony Koutoufides and Mark Riccutio waves goodbye to a generation of stars that we have loved watching over the years. These are players who will live in our memories forever, some of the greats of the game who will always be remember as exactly that. Below is a long list of this years retirees.

  1. ae i went to this game… It was probally the BEST game ii had seen all year apart from the collingwood game in round 19 or sumfing.. Buht people sed we were gonna be on the bottom of the ladder in the middle of the year wat happened to that one…?? TOP 4 mate hope we go all the way… GO ROOS ….
