St Kilda came out two point victors over a determined Sydney side in a low scoring pressure packed match at the Telstra Dome tonight. The pressure put on by both teams made the game intense and exciting even though it made the game low scoring. The score was so low that St Kilda’s full time score was only 6.15 (51), the lowest winning score ever recorded at the Telstra Dome. Going into the final break St Kilda lead by 12 points but were kicking to the end which had only registered a single goal for the match and that was kicked by Sydney. The trend continued throughout the final term, St Kilda only managed to score 5 behinds from limited opportunities. A ripping goal from Nick Davis from 50 metres out put the Swans within points of victory. Davis had another chance to put the Swans infront late in the final quarter from the opposite side of the ground but failed to deliver with the kick just falling short. The Swans had another chance to win the match through Jarred Moore who gained possession inside the 50m mark to run into goal directly in front but could not deliver in what would be the last chance they got.
