Young gun Brad Ebert has earnt himself an AFL Rising Star nomination after a good performance in the Eagles 17 point win against St Kilda at Subiaco on Sunday.
Cousin of Port Adelaide’s Brett, Brad is the second Eagle player to earn a nomination this season after Ben McKinley won in Round 5.
The 18 year oldĀ picked up 25 possessions and kicked 3 goals playing on the experienced St Kilda midfielder Nick Dal Santo, which was a great effort in only his 13th game of AFL footy.
“I suppose I set a goal for myself that I would like to play half the games this year and that is all I was hoping for,” Ebert said today.
