Hawthorn hard man Campbell Brown will contest the rough conduct charge laid against him during Sundays game against North Melbourne and will be facing up to three weeks on the sidelines if unsuccessfully
contests the charge.
Brown will face the tribunal tonight along with Collingwood’s Heath Shaw who was not offered a sentence by the Match Review Panel after he was charged with intentionally making contact with an umpire.
The tribunal hearings will take place at 5pm tonight – AEST.
Collingwood have accepted a two match ban on captain Nick Maxwell for a rough conduct charge. Maxwell will now miss the ANZAC Day blockbuster against Essendon.
Port Adelaide have accepted the one week suspension on skipper Domenic Cassisi for striking Melbourne’s Lynden Dunn. Peter Burgoyne has also accepted his two week suspension after he was charged with a kneeing offence on Aaron Davey.
