Carlton coach Brett Ratten announced last night that Michael Jamison will play tonight against Collingwood. Jamison has played in the reserves for the last two weeks in his gradual return from a niggling back pain he battled in February.

It has been revealed that Jamison’s Friday night return at the MCG will not include playing on Magpie Travis Cloke. That job has been given to Lachlan Henderson, as Jamison settles back into the side for his first game for the home-and-away season with the Blues.

Nick Duigan was also selected in the Carlton defense this week after recovering from a knee injury.

Andrew Walker is still recovering from a quad tendon injury, but Ratten is hopeful that  he will be ready for next weekend’s round four clash against Essendon.
