Fremantle looks set to face the Bulldogs in round two without Hayden Ballantyne who has been offered a week ban.

Ballantyne was charged for engaging in rough conduct against West Coast’s Scott Selwood.

The off-the-ball incident was caught on camera. A medical report from the Eagles was also used in the assessment.

The small forward was hampered by his poor record, having been suspended for 3 matches in the past 2 seasons.

Ballantyne can contest the charge at the tribunal without risking an additional week suspension.

Matthew Pavlich who was reported during the match will be free to play in round two. His rough conduct charge on Eagle Will Schofield was thrown out by the panel after judging that his actions did not constitute a reportable offence.

Pavlich spent the night following the game in hospital with split webbing on his hand. He is however expected to be fit to play in round two.
