Former Carlton star Brendan Fevola has slammed his former club for it’s omission of Ryan Houlihan in this weeks squad.

Houlihan has played 199 games for Carlton over his career and was set to play his 200th game on Saturday in front of a packed MCG where the Blues will host Collingwood.

Fevola, who played 187 games for Carlton, took to twitter on Thursday night to express his view.

“Carlton dropping hoops for his 200th game bloody disgrace after 22 touches last week.” Fevola wrote.

Houlihan was dropped from the side along with Jordan Russell (Soreness) and Jarrad Waite (Hip).

They will be replaced by Matthew Watson, Edward Curnow and Wayde Twomey who will make his debut for Carlton.

Houlihan will miss a week and is unlikely to play against the Bombers the following week due to Carlton’s VFL affiliate the Northern Bullants having a bye.
