It’s been a quiet week for the Match Review Panel following Round 19 reports, with only one player being suspended. Mitch Golby (Brisbane) has accepted a one match ban for an early plea charged with striking Tom Curren (St Kilda). The MRP assessed the incident as intentional, low impact and high contact, handing down an initial two match ban.

Meanwhile, Josh Caddy (Geelong) has accepted a $900 fine for making negligent contact with umpire Jeff Dalgleish on Friday night.

Corey Enright (Geelong) has also accepted a $900 fine for misconduct after standing on the leg of opponent Scott Thompson (North Melbourne).

Dion Prestia (Gold Coast) has accepted a $1950 fine for making reckless contact with umpire Jason Armstrong when he pushed Andrew Gaff (West Coast) into Armstrong’s way during Saturday’s match.

Darren Glass (West Coast) has accepted a reprimand for a level two striking offence against Dion Prestia (Gold Coast). He also received 93.75 demerit points towards any future reports.
