Collingwood’s Dayne Beams will be the hard luck story of the Grand Final this week after missing out on a spot in the Pies side with a suspect groin injury.

Beams had just two touches in last weeks Preliminary Final against the Hawks before being subbed out of the game for Alan Didak.

Both Darren Jolly and Ben Reid have been named in the Collingwood side and are set to player after being under an injury cloud earlier in the week.

Steve Johnson is also named in the Cats side and is expected to be fit to play on Saturday after injuring his knee in the Cats match against West Coast last week.
