The Match Review Panel has released its penalties for reportable offences in Round 10. Among those charges dismissed was Gary Ablett’s (Gold Coast) contact with Liam Picken (Western Bulldogs).
Jarryd Blair (Collingwood) – has received a one match ban and 125 demerit points for striking Mitch Brown (West Coast).
The MRP assessed it as level two striking.
The initial penalty may be reduced to a reprimand and 93.75 demerit points with an early plea.
Tom Lynch (Gold Coast) – has received a $1200 fine for making contact with umpire Matthew Nicholls.
The MRP assessed it as making negligent contact with an umpire.
The initial penalty may be reduced to $900 with an early plea.
Jeremy Cameron (GWS) – has received a one match ban and 125 demerit points for striking Dylan Grimes (Richmond).
The MRP assessed it as level two striking.
The initial penalty may be reduced to a reprimand and 93.75 demerit points with an early plea.
Cameron also received a $2400 fine for misconduct against Dylan Grimes (Richmond).
The MRP assessed it as level one misconduct.
The initial penalty may be reduced to $1800 with an early plea.
Hamish Hartlett (Port Adelaide) – has received a one match ban and 125 demerit points for striking Bradley Hill (Hawthorn).
The MRP assessed it as level two striking.
The initial ban was added to 43.75 demerit points already accumulated and because of his prior record of suspensions over the last two years, he’s ineligible for the penalty to be reduced with an early plea.
Clay Smith (Western Bulldogs) – has received a two match ban and 225 demerit points for rough conduct against Luke Russell (Gold Coast).
The MRP assessed it as level two engaging in rough conduct.
The initial penalty may be reduced to a one match ban and 168.75 demerit points with an early plea.
Gary Ablett (Gold Coast) has been cleared of making contact with Liam Picken (Western Bulldogs).
Luke Hodge (Hawthorn) has been cleared of making contact with Chad Wingard (Port Adelaide).
Adam Cooney (Western Bulldogs) has been cleared of making forceful contact with Gary Ablett (Gold Coast).
Liam Picken (Western Bulldogs) has been cleared of making high contact with Gary Ablett (Gold Coast).
