Collingwood will be without defender Heath Shaw when they take on the Brisbane Lions at the Gabba on Friday night after he was handed a one week suspension at the tribunal tonight for making intentional contact with umpire Michael Vozzo in last Thursday’s clash against Geelong.

Shaw pleaded guilty to the charge after that attracted 225 demerit points and a two match sanction.

Shaw’s guilty plea reduced the penalty by 25 per cent and his five year good record reduced it by a further 25 per cent resulting in 126.56 demerit points and a one match sanction.

Shaw was also fined $1950 for the offence.

Hawthorn’s Campbell Brown has successfully challenged his three game suspension for a head high hit on North Melbourne’s Daniel Wells.
