Sydney’s Lewis Roberts-Thomson played his 150th game on Saturday at the SCG. What should have been a momentous occasion for any player has left Roberts-Thomson with a fractured cheekbone which will no doubt count him out of the Swan’s line-up for a minimum of three weeks.

Roberts-Thomson underwent scans to reveal the extent of the damage he sustained on the weekend during the match against Fremantle. He is scheduled to undergo surgery today in which a plate will be inserted in order to provide some stability to his cheekbone.

Swans coach John Longmire has praised Roberts-Thomson for the courage he displayed during game which contributed to their 13 point win over the Dockers.
