It’s always easier writing up my weekly betting preview after a successful week on the punt…and if you followed my tips last week you would know why.

I’m not one to gloat but I was stoked to get my two best bets correct last week and nailed my multi-bet. Let’s hope that fortune can continue in to this week, I’m quietly confident it will!

Moving straight on to this weeks games and I really like the chances of the Demons tonight. I think they’ll have fire in the belly after the claims that they played “bruise-free footy” and burst out of the blocks against Essendon. I’m not putting them in my best bets this weekend because they haven’t shown me anything to convince me they’re worth risking any of my hard earned on but they’re worth keeping an eye one for future rounds if they can prove they have some heart.

Sydney just got over the line last week after I put them in my best bets and I’m hoping they can do the same. Brisbane are a new team now that their skipper in Jonathan Brown has returned but I think this could be the week there there winning streak comes to an end.

In years gone by the Swans have had a convincing record against the Lions winning 10 of the past 13 matches. They have also played in a draw.

If you jump on Centrebet within the next hour you can get amazing odds on Sydney at $2.19 head-to-head with there “Friday Fill Up” promotion. Otherwise it’s still worthwhile getting on the Swans at $1.97

I’m continuing last weeks trend of tipping the Swans and for the next game, tipping against North Melbourne.

they’re up against Adelaide who last weel lost to fellow cellar dwellers in the Lions. I really like the Crows under the roof at Etihad Stadium, they play some good football there and as we saw two weeks again against the Magpies, they’re capable of taking it up against the best. Up until last season Adelaide had won 8 straight against North Melbourne. That streak came to an end in round 10 last season when North defeated Adelaide by just 9 points under the roof.

For a team going as poorly as North Melbourne at the moment $1.60 odds H2H is way too short and even though the Crows aren’t going much better the $2.35 H2H odds Centrebet has to offer are juicy to say the last.

On to my multi-bet of the week and because I like to have a bit of fun with my multi’s I’m going to put the Crows to win by over 25 points against North Melbourne. This is due to the fact the Crows have a good history of playing in blow-outs against North Melbourne.

I’ll also through my best bet of Swans H2H at $1.97 in the multi-bet. Top 4 sides in Carlton and Collingwood should both defeat their bottom 8 opponents so at $1.20 odds each I’ll put them in for extra value.
