The teams for round 16 have been released and to no surprise two big Cats have been ruled out from playing the top-of-the-table clash against the Bulldogs at Skilled Stadium on Saturday.
Brownlow medal favorite Gary Ablett has been ruled out after the injured his ankle last week. Cameron Ling will also miss several weeks with a fractured cheekbone after the widely reported incident that occurred between Ling and Fremantle’s Dean Soloman last week.
Carlton welcome back Andrew Walker who injured his shoulder in a Regional Challenge match against the Bulldogs during the pre-season. Walker has played with Carlton’s VFL affiliate the Northern Bullants for the past 3 weeks.
North Melbourne has ommited Nathan Thompson for the first time since 2005.
