As all clubs prepare for their second last match for this home and away season in Round 22 and the top eight get ready for the final series, a number of players from Round 21 games have been penalised. One in particular has placed his own finals hopes in doubt.

Here’s the team by team list of players facing penalties from the Match Review Panel this week.

Port Adelaide

Hamish Hartlett – has been offered a two match ban for rough conduct against Seb Tape (Gold Coast).

The MRP assessed the charge as Level Three engaging in rough conduct.

The initial penalty of 325 demerit points and a three match ban may be reduced to two weeks with an early plea.

West Coast

Dean Cox – has been offered 70.31 demerit points and a reprimand for striking Joel Selwood (Geelong).

The MRP assessed the charge as Level One striking.

Taking into consideration his good behaviour over the last six year, the initial penalty of 125 demerit points and a one match ban may be reduced to 70.31 demerit points and a reprimand with an early plea.

Scott Selwood – has been offered 93.75 demerit points and a reprimand for tripping Mitch Duncan (Geelong).

The MRP assessed the charge as Level Two tripping.

The initial penalty of 125 demerit points and a one match ban may be reduced to 93.75 demerit points and a reprimand with an early plea.

Brisbane Lions

Simon Black – has been offered 168.75 demerit points and a one match ban for striking Callan Ward (GWS Giants).

The MRP assessed the charge as Level Three striking.

The initial penalty of 225 demerit points and a two match ban may be reduced to 168.75 demerit points and a one match ban with an early plea.
