Suns captain Gary Ablett underwent scans today which have revealed he sustained a knee injury during the game on Saturday night against the Lions. Ablett was helped off the ground after colliding with Lion Andrew Raines.

Scans showed minor damage and bone bruising which is expected to cost Ablett at least two weeks in recovery. Today Ablett tweeted that doctors recommend two to three weeks on the sidelines, however he is confident that he will return soon than expected.

Ablett joins injured teammates David Swallow who is hoping to comeback this weekend from a hip injury and Jarrod Harbrow who is set to undergo surgery on his injured elbow which will mean between eight and ten weeks recovery.
