Earlier this week Power’s Jay Schulz was recovering from bruised ribs and his selection in the team for this weekend was in serious doubt. After training well yesterday, his coach Matthew Primus believes there is a good chance Schulz will play on Sunday against the Hawks.
Primus said Schultz’s injuries seem to be getting better, but he will obviously continue to feel soreness for some time. The determining factor for his on-field presence this weekend is the level of comfort Schulz has playing with the injury, especially in the forward-line. A final decision is expected to be made tomorrow, however Primus said it may come down to a last minute decision on game-day Sunday.
