North Melbourne went into the game after being punished in a 106 point loss to Geelong the week beforehand. With the odds against them as took on Hawthorn they needed to come out with all guns firing and one man certainly did. Early into the first quarter it was clear the Kangaroos meant business and were on course to cause an upset.
