Crow Taylor Walker has received a two match ban for a sling-tackle on Cat Harry Taylor during Adelaide’s fifty point win over Geelong on Saturday afternoon. Although the Geelong Football Club didn’t believe the tackle was of medium impact, it chose not to appeal the decision. If unsuccessful, Walker could have faced a harsher penalty of three weeks and the Cats were not willing to take the risk.
Meanwhile, teammate Joel Corey was hit with a $900 sanction. Corey has accepted the fine as punishment for an obscene gesture he made during the match on Saturday.
