Nick Stevens and Brendan Fevola are set to play milestone games in this weeks clash against Brisbane on Saturday night at Telstra Dome. Stevens will finally play his 200th game after missing most of last season with a neck injury which was feared as a potential career ending injury. Although Stevens played the majority of his games at his former club in Port Adelaide he has made himself at home at Carlton and was rewarded the Vice Captaincy earlier this year for his efforts.
Gun full forward, Brendan Fevola, will play his 150th game on the same night. Fevola has been in outstanding form throughout 2008 and was awarded the Allen Aylett medal in last weeks Hall of Fame match when he kicked 6 goals, several of those at crucial points in the match. If Fevola can match last weeks 6 goal haul he will equal Alex Jesaulenko’s total of 424 goals and will become third on the list of Carlton’s greatest goalkickers. The stage has been set for a terrific match, last time these two teams met Brisbane smashed Carlton by 117 points led by a 10 goal haul from Jonathon Brown. But earlier that year the teams played out one of the most exiting games of the year at the Telstra Dome, Brisbane still won the match but if we are treated to anything like that it will be sensational game.
