Possible seasons end for Palmer

Fremantle young gun Rhys Palmer may miss the rest of the season as the club weighs up whether he should have surgery on damaged knee cartilage.
The NAB Rising Star favorite missed the Dockers win over Melbourne on the weekend, but will be assessed this week at training to see if he is able to play or if he requires surgery.
Fremantle coach Mark Harvey said today that “Rhys will train today and tomorrow then we will assess where he’s at. The debate is whether or not he has an operation.”
“If he doesn’t need surgery, he will continue to play. That decision will be made based on the severity of the pain he gets and he’s been dealing with it for a while now.”

Devastating considering how many “fantasy football” teams depend on this guy playing or being an emergency on their team.
It’ll also shatter his chances of winning the rising star award.
