Both have played all possible games so far and have been very promising. But who do you believe has been better?

Trengove so far. I think Scully will be better in the long run.

Trengove has had experience playing seniors since he was 16 or so. This is Scullys first year against men.

Even before last nights BOG, I'd have said Scully. Not that the difference is so easily clear-cut at this stage, Scully is just the type of midfielder which I'd love on my team. Hard, smart, quick enough, wins his own ball, courageous, runs hard and all with a small frame. Deserved #31 for the Dees..

Yeah I reckon I'll change my vote to Scully now. Just reads the play amazingly well.

Realistically though, I would take either haha.

I took a big chance in Supercoach this year and actually had Scully and Trengrove in my midfield. I eventually made a few other changes, kept Scully and got Hodge in the center.

Scully for me.

Now, I think Scully is playing better footy then Trengove. He has been taking the game on in the last couple of weeks.

Trengove hasn't done much in the last few weeks but after watching the preliminary final for Sturt, he strikes me as the type of player i see stepping up in finals for Melbourne. You can't really be wrong in this thread because you can't really make an opinion of them based on just their first year.

Adelaide are absolutely shit. They play one boring style of footy and once it's broken, it's game over.

They'll be as good as each other. It'll be similar to Jimmy Bartel and Gary Ablett i reckon.

They all have a lot of footy left. Im sure you decision could be changed in the next few years.

Rich is a great example of this, most people would have taken him at 1 after his opening season but guys like Naitanui and Hill have already shown enough to say they will be better long term.

I'd say Scully, I like his style of game, but Trengove is more classy I believe.
