[Mr. St Kilda]

I think One of St Kilda's weeknesses is our speed. The other night vs Carlton we could match it with the Yarrans,Betts and Gartletts. So I think a player we need is a Leon Davis/Cyril Rioli.
What does your club need?

None in particular. Not that we couldn't do with more talent, of course we could, but we're a fairly balanced team at the moment.

Why Rehn? Maric's doing a fantastic job in the ruck. Rhen was nothing but a 1 game wonder

Rehn was my favorite player plus it would be we would be able to keep Tippett forward permanently and Maric could just keep doing what hes doing.

Im still not sold on the 1 ruckman setup. I Think 1 ruck versatile tall is a good combo though.

tbh... no one specific really... we thought we had a Key Forward issue... but to be honest.. I don't think we do... of course we can always use upgrades... but nothing really major...

Setanta and Waite will do their jobs... Hendo is to come back sometime.... We have Fisher that can be used if needed... and Big Levi is really showing things to say he will make it... absolutely great hands and great reading of the aerial ball...

Our defence is not only full... but runs deep... Armfield, Russell and Jamo are rock solid atm... White is going pretty good... again prefer him more loose and play making... Joseph will play mid and back wherever he's required... we have Thornton that is no longer best 22 which shows something... Bower and Walker who are to come back... And Aussie once fit again will become our CHB... Hendo can also play down back... and you have Gibbs and Houla who can do a defensive job... and Kane Lucas has been nothing short of awesome so far of half back...really really happy with it...

We know about our midfield... I guess more hardball winning one would be good... but we do have McLean and Hadley who've been injured... so they can get in there...

Our rucks are solid... we don't need anyone there... we have depth and quality... and to have someone at the quality of Jacobs... who is our 4th best ruckman (Warnock will eventually become number 1... was good when in the side... and is dominating in the 2s)... Hammo is injured and hasn't played any games this year... it just shows that we have depth...

Of course upgrades are always required... ie. I would not say no to any superstar player... but to be in need of a player for a specific position I don't think we have one

White really isn't going pretty good so far, he's been killed by his opponents.

Collingwood are pretty fine I'd say. No major need.

Like I said... defence one on one wise... I agree he hasn't done too good... but his output every game so far in terms of setting up, being in the link, taking marks etc. has been really good... he's a really good kick, mark and decision maker.... he'll keep his spot I hope cause he has adopted to the game plan...

I agree with you that he was easily beaten by Burton, Pods and Dawson... last week however he was abit better defence wise...

What I like about him... he's the kind of player that will get better once he has more confidence in his ability... and this is evident by a couple of errors each in nearly every game... but finishes off the matches really good... having him in our defence is a positive...

Carltons forward line is the same as the bulldogs last year, they don't have an imposing forward that will tear a match to shreds. In time they'll be criticised for it.

If we finish top 4 this year like they did last year I will be quite happy

1. Who were the dogs tall targets last year?

2. Is there a player who is 200cm that works as hard on the ground as setanta?

3. How many teams have two tall targets that are as Mobile as waite and setanta?

4. Do you honestly think Dogs having Hall... are better than when they didn't have ball?

5. Who is your imposing forward to tear a match to shreds? When was the last time Collingwood had an imposing forward that tore a game to shreds? Do you see this as Collingwood's weakness... even though they are the highest scoring team and scoring at will with a forward line full of smalls?

6. Who did Geelong have as an imposing forward that tore games to shreds last year?

7. Who did West Coast have in 07 that was an imposing forward that tore games to shreds?

8. Are you saying we have a weak forward line cause we aren't one dimensional any more?
