Yep Joey Montagna for the win guys. Champion data predicts him to be ahead of Ablett on 20 votes at the moment leading the AFL. His had career best stats including kicks, handballs, tackles and goals. All stats that influence umpires as well as metres gained.

To further support this Lenny, Kosi and Dal have been well down on last years form who all polled very well in the Brownlow count. BJ fights and argues to often with umpires to poll any votes and Riewoldt has obviously been injured all season..

Paying up to $26 at some agency. Definitely worthy of a tenner on him :)

He's definitely a chance. Dunno if he'll win it though. There's still so much left to go, and it's not as if he's got a massive gap on Gary.

A sneaky chance for sure. If I had the money, I would throw something on him right now.

He doesn't poll all that well but surely with a blinder last season ad even better this season te umpires should give him a couple more.

I remember a couple of years back, Saint made a remark that Montagna could win a Brownlow one day. I, and others, ridiculed it. After all, Montagna was just an ordinary promising young player, and Saint was a knob back then. For this, I apologise. While I don't believe he will win the Brownlow this year, he has certainly proven he is good enough to win one, and is not without a chance this year.

Saint, it kills me to say this, but you were right.
