Now i'll be frank, i'm not big into politics but when it comes down to choosing our new Prime Minister, I think a little interest doesn't hurt. Most politicians lie anyway, but I guess you gotta pick one or the other. I know the worm will go Julies way, but whats everyones thoughts on the new two possible Prime Ministers of Australia?

Matthew Scarlett on the 2010 Prelim against Collingwood:"They just annihilated us early and we were a bit shell-shocked. I’ve played for a while and I’ve never seen a side [apply so much] pressure. They just swarm you and it’s like they’ve got three or four extra players out there. I’ve never seen anything like it.”

Basically cuts to health care or continue the way we are. Pretty simple decision.

You should email her and suggest she go after blue hair dye #56. I always wanted a Simpson character to be our overlord.

I'm neither a fan of Liberal or Labor at the moment, and Gillard has disappointed me in the last couple of weeks. Still, I loathe Abbot. I could not bring myself to vote for him.

I'm holding out hope that Gillard is just being wishy-washy because she doesn't know how to run an election campaign. With Abbot, I know what he's like, and I know I don't like it. With Gillard, it could go either way (I have also heard numerous sources describe what an intelligent and lovely person she is on a personal level, usually in contrast to Rudd).

Not that it matters who I vote for, however. I'm in Turnbull's electorate (and I actually like Turnbull, and kinda wish he was with Labor).

Im not huge on Abbott either, but I have lived under numerous state/federal labor governments that were shitfights. I trust liberal though, never had much of a complaint. And my local liberal members have always been excellent imo, so the local liberal seat will continue to get my vote.
Im not hugely concerned on the result, but would love for the coalition to be back in.

Labor sucks balls. Look whats happened to things over the past year since. Both candidates lie, but going by morals I think Abbott is far ahead. A sustainable population, please Gillard tell us HOW you think you can acheive this without raising issues and conflicts.

Oh and to add to that, Abbott's stance on global warming is why I will probably vote for him. Also his green projects like the 22million tree plan is the right way to go and not slugging people for using their car with carbon taxing. It's already expensive enough thanks Julie.
