I bet Malthouse will bring Fraser into the side this week....Imagine that....OMG!

Matthew Scarlett on the 2010 Prelim against Collingwood:"They just annihilated us early and we were a bit shell-shocked. I’ve played for a while and I’ve never seen a side [apply so much] pressure. They just swarm you and it’s like they’ve got three or four extra players out there. I’ve never seen anything like it.”

He doesn't have to come in this week, but he will before finals. I can't see anyone in defence who deserves to be dropped. But he could come in to play a midfield role, which is why our team is currently so godly.

I'm sure this will cause a debate, I think Goldsack is better value in the side than any one of (not all three) Shaw, Maxwell and Toovey.

He can play their roles just as effectively. I think he uses the ball better than any of them. He can be damaging as a rebounding defender going forward, play man on man and as a loose man, and he kicks it alot better than Shaw, in my opinion. The team has been better with him playing.

Obviously Maxwell is a AA half back flanker, Toovey has improved a hell of alot over the past two years and Shaw can play some blinders (some shockers too) but Goldsack would be my preference of the three, and I'd hate to lose him to one of the new sides.

There's no chance we will lose goldy, he is far too valuable. It's a good problem to have. So many options my head is going to explode.

Bloody great headache to have isn't it. There's in excess of 30 players who should be playing firsts but there's only 22 spots available. The way that Fraser will get a game I think is to give Jolly and Leigh Brown a rest before finals. Who would've thought Jarryd Blair would come in and play so well, love him lots absolute ripper.

Fraser is an emergency because he's the preferred option over Wood to replace Jolly or Brown if they go down. But, the only way he'll get back in the side is if Jolly gets injured, because I'm betting the side would rather play Jolly alone with Dawes backing up, rather than waste a spot on Fraser.

That game in round 12, still gives me nightmares.

You'd get that from every fan base in existance, and it'd be justified considering they know you would hold out til the siren should the blues be raping.

Well the game was over by quarter time. I actually was placed for the final 3 quarter. I was actually disappointed it was such an anti climax, and I reckon most people were as well.

100% correct... at quarter time everyone knew what was coming... Carlton fans around me were all talking that the game is over even though it was only 11 points... and the pies fans were already confident it's theirs...

Just watching this now...

I am not too disapointed with the first quarter... we are only just behind... but we were competitive...

seems like a competent 7th against 1st...

The problem is for the next hour or so it goes down hill :(

But As I said I though our whole 1st half was useless... bu we were not too bad in the first...

Although if cloke could kick we would be in a bit more strife...

How was the one 15 metres out from goal when Jamison was pinged for holding the ball. The Collingwood supporters next to me were shaking there heads at that one.
