It's the battle of the South, the derby that is Adelaide vs Port Adelaide. It is also the derby of the two most underperformed teams of the season; both clubs have had a tumultuous year both on and off the field. The most recent display of a disrupted season came on Friday night for the Crows where they gave up a lead to a rampaging Saints outfit. This game saw the inevitable departure of Neil Craig, a long servant of the Crows.
How will the resignation of Craig affect the Crows this week. What a time for this to happen; they play their arch rivals in Port Adelaide.
How will Port respond? They surey do not want to finish with the spoon this year.
A serious 50/50 game for mine.
At this stage I would be tipping the Power by 3 points.

About Me
Hello, well I was born in Victoria hence why I came to the sport of AFL. I moved up to QLD at a fairly young age but still followed the game. Whilst in Melbourne I became an avid supporter of the Pies and have always loved the Pies since. I think once you have chosen a team, they become your team for the rest of your life.
I love being in QLD because its weather is bloody awesome. The days in winter are absolute bliss!! I always try and get down for a surf and love being near the ocean.

Round 19 - Collingwood vs Essendon
27 July 2011 - 07:54 AM
This game has the potential to be one of the games of the Round. Two of the biggest clubs in the league battle it out on the big stage, the MCG, on a Sunday afternoon. If the Dons were not severly depleted of personal then maybe this game would live up to expectations. However, they face the juggernaut that is the Pies, who seem destined to finish on top of the ladder.
This may be a close encounter for a couple of quarters, however, the Pies will regain some premierships players this week which will only add the Bombers woes and leave them with a substantial loss by the end of the game.

Round 19 - Fremantle vs Hawthorn
27 July 2011 - 07:48 AM
Earlier on in the season, back in Melbourne, the Hawks had the upper hand against the Dockers. This time, the Hawks fly west to battle it out at Patersons Stadium against an injury depleted Dockers.
Can Freo win without Sandilands? His absence leaves a gapping hole in their structure. Can the Hawks win in the West? If recent history is concerned then the answer would be yes.
A close game here, with the Dockers to pip the Hawks by 11.

Round 19 - Gold Coast vs St Kilda
27 July 2011 - 07:45 AM
The Gold Coast have showed during the year that they are no mugs and that they have a point to prove in their first year in the big league. They performed valiantly against the reigning premiers last week and will be confident they can take it up the the runners up last year.
The Sainters have gained some form and the competition is now keeping a close eye on their mid season revival. How will the absence of Roo play out on Saturday night? Can the Gold Coast break through the immense defense that is St Kilda?
Will be a close game and who knows, maybe GC can pull of a another famous victory.

Round 19 - Geelong vs Melbourne

Probably one of the easier games to tip in round 19. The Dees seemed to have lost their early season mojo, whilst the Cats have gained a bit of form of late.
Can the Dees cause an upset at the Cattery? One would think not.
