E.J.Whitten Legends Game

Tony Modra, Mark Ricciuto, Anthony Koutoufides and Glenn Archer join the host of celebrities and former AFL/VFL greats in the up and coming E.J. Whitten Legends game to raise money for prostate cancer research.
Australia’s number one radio act FM, Hamish Blake and Andy Lee will line up to play again. Sea Patrol actor and Postcards presenter Blair McDonough and Group 1-winning jockey Damien Oliver will play for the All Stars, will also play.
As per usual Channel 9 will broadcast the event with James Brayshaw and Brian Taylor to call all the action. Garry Lyon and Billy Brownless will provide special comments while Shane Crawford will ride the boundary. Brendan Fevola and Nathan Brown will be team runners.
Neil Balme will make his debut as All Stars Coach, and Ricciuto will captain. Guiding Victoria for the second time will be Chris Connolly, with Archer captaining the Vics.
There are 18 first-time players this year, including Adam Ramanauskas, Nathan Thomspon, Brodie Holland, Richie Vandenberg, Phil Matera and Chris Johnson.
Australian pop sensation Jessica Mauboy will sing the national anthem and perform two of her hit songs.
The E.J. Whitten Legends Game is a major fundraiser for the E.J. Whitten Foundation, with proceeds going to prostate cancer research.
It airs Tuesday, June 30 at 8.30pm on Channel Nine in Melbourne (simulcast on radio station Triple M Melbourne), Adelaide and Perth and on 9HD in Sydney and Brisbane.
