Richmond Station is the larger of the two and is a about a minutes extra walk than Jolimont but has more services arriving and departing. Parking at the MCG

The MCG has a number of parking options available for a cost. The surrounding Yarra Park is often open to parking when events are held at the MCG and costs $10 to park there. Patience is required leaving the park as it can often take some time with the high load of other traffic and pedestrians leaving the ground.

Street parking around the MCG is very restricted and parking inspectors frequently visit the area, especially on game day.

High rise secure parking lots are within walking distance of the MCG and often have flat rate parking over weekends when games are played. Taking this option can also help you avoid the traffic leaving the MCG.
