After an exciting AFL Indigenous round  this weekend, the MRP has announced its verdicts regarding player offenses from Round 11.

Players penalised by the MRP

Ryan Harwood (Brisbane Lions) – has received a $1200 fine for making contact with umpire Chris Kamolins.

The MRP assessed it as first offense making negligent contact with an umpire.

The initial penalty may be reduced to $900 with an early plea.

 

Steele Sidebottom (Collingwood) – has received a four match ban and 425 demerit points for rough conduct against Maverick Weller  (St Kilda).

The MRP assessed it as level four engaging in rough conduct.

The initial penalty may be reduced to a three match ban and 318.75 demerit points with an early plea.

 

Jeremy Cameron (GWS) – has received a one match ban and 125 demerit points for rough conduct against Jarryd Roughead (Hawthorn).

The MRP assessed it as level one engaging in rough conduct.

The initial ban was added to demerit points already accumulated meaning he’s ineligible for the penalty to be reduced with an early plea.

 

Jay Schultz (Port Adelaide) – has received a reprimand and 60 demerit points for striking Neville Jetta (Melbourne).

The MRP assessed it as level one striking.

The initial penalty may be reduced to a reprimand and 60 demerit points with an early plea.

 

Players cleared by the MRP

Heath Hocking (Essendon) for forceful contact against Ben Lennon (Richmond).

Brent Harvey (North Melbourne) for contact with Scott Selwood (West Coast).

Adam Goodes (Sydney) for rough conduct against Joel Selwood (Geelong).
