When the Bulldogs battle the Saints in Game 8 at Simonds Stadium on Wednesday night, all eyes will be on their recruits – Stewart Crameri (former Bomber) for the Bulldogs along with Saints Billy Longer (former Lion) and Maverick Weller (former Sun).
Adding to the new players selected for St Kilda are Josh Bruce, Luke Delaney and draft picks Jack Billings and Luke Dunstan. They replace Lenny Hayes and Nick Riewoldt who are among those absent from the squad.
The Western Bulldogs will no doubt miss having their captain Ryan Griffen on the ground with them, who is being rested with back soreness.
