The Match Review Panel has penalised four players from NAB Challenge Games 7 to 12 played between last Tuesday 18th and Sunday 23rd February.
Players penalised by MRP
Gold Coast
Timmy Sumner – has received a reprimand for engaging in rough conduct against Tom Rockliff (Brisbane Lions).
The MRP assessed the charge as Level One engaging in rough conduct.
The initial penalty of 125 demerit points and a one match ban may be reduced to a reprimand with an early plea.
Hawthorn
Mitch Hallahan – has received a $900 fine for making negligent conduct with umpire Troy Pannell.
The MRP assessed the charge as a first offence for making negligent contact with an umpire.
The initial penalty of a $1200 fine may be reduced to $900 with an early plea.
St Kilda
David Armitage – has received a $1950 fine for making reckless conduct with umpire Andrew Mitchell.
The MRP assessed the charge as a first offence for making reckless contact with an umpire.
The initial penalty of a $2600 may be reduced to $1950 with an early plea.
West Coast
Patrick McGinnity – has received a one match ban for engaging in rough conduct against Danyle Pearce (Fremantle).
The MRP assessed the charge as Level Two engaging in rough conduct.
The initial penalty of 225 demerit points and a two match ban may be reduced to a one match ban with an early plea.
