Brent Stanton will play in Friday nights semi-final against Collingwood after spending three weeks on the sidelines with a quadricep injury. Essendon are also set to play Michael Hurley who went at pick #5 in last years national draft.
Meanwhile Collingwood have included Anthony Corrie, Chris Dawes and Chris Bryan into their squad while captain Nick Maxwell will be rested along with Josh Fraser and Tyson Goldsack.
Steel Sidebottom, recruited by Collingwood with pick #11, may also make his NAB Cup debut for the Pies.
