Gold Coast will see the return of three players this Saturday with captain Gary Ablett, David Swallow and Michael Rischitelli all training strongly this morning. Ablett is likely to play in the forward-line for the Suns giving his teammates a chance to enhance their performance in the midfield.
Ablett has missed the last two games due to a knee injury, but will be a welcome addition to the Sun’s line-up against Greater Western Sydney in Canberra.
David Swallow didn’t training on Wednesday, however he made up for it this morning and is set to return after recovering from an ankle injury. In fact, Shane O’Bree, the assistant coach of the Suns has revealed that Swallow sometimes has to be told not to train too hard.
Rischitelli is also a strong starter against the Giants this round, after missing two weeks with an ankle injury. His teammates Matt Shaw, Danny Stanley and Jeremy Taylor will act as emergencies, obviously hoping that Ablett, Swallow and Rischitelli make a noteworthy return to the team.
