Young Geelong ruckman Mark Blake will make way for Steven King in this weeks Grand Final. Blake has played 22 out of 24 games this has been told that his position in the team will this week be taken over King.
After struggling in last weeks preliminary final against Collingwood Blake’s position in this weeks Grand Final was always going to be controversial.

King, who played in last Saturday’s VFL Grand Final for Geelong only
played 5 matches in the senior side this season. Number one
ruckman Brad Ottens who was best on ground last week against an
undermanned Collingwood ruck division will have a much harder task on
his hands this week as he faces a very powerful ruck partnership that
is Brendan Lade and Dean Brogan.

Speaking on SEN the football operations manager Neil Balme announced
that Blake would be not be selecting in this weeks line-up.
