Kangaroo Hamish McIntosh will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery after re-injuring his knee during training last Wednesday. McIntosh had initially sustained the knee injury during round seven against the Bulldogs and has missed the past two matches. Scans of the original injury showed no structural damage.
However, just as he was getting closer to making his return, training last week resulted in further damage to his knee and the need for surgery. This latest injury is expected to require an additional four to six weeks of rehabilitation for the ruckman, obviously to the disappointment of McIntosh, the North Melbourne Football Club and fans alike.
