Hawthorn have made a surprise selection ahead of this weeks clash against West Coast with skipper Luke Hodge named on an extended bench. Whether he plays or not is yet to be determined with final squads to be announced for Sunday matches tomorrow evening.
Sam Rowe is likely to make his debut when Carlton meet rivals Collingwood on Sunday. The forward was diagnosed with cancer last year and underwent chemotherapy last season. Rowe is likely to replace Shaun Hampson who has been ruled out of the side after having his appendix removed on Saturday.
Melbourne are looking to turn around their horror result last Sunday with 4 changes to their side that takes on Essendon. Co-captain Jack Trengove makes his return along with Aaron Davey.
