Sun’s midfielder Michael Rischitelli is the latest Gold Coast player to be sidelined this weekend due to injury. Rischitelli is on crutches and according to Gold Coast coach Guy McKenna, he is likely to miss two to three weeks due to an ankle injury he sustained during this week’s training.
Rischitelli joins his captain Gary Ablett who is battling a knee injury and teammate Jarrod Harbrow who is plagued by an injured elbow.
Some good news for the Suns is midfielder David Swallow is believed to have overcome the hip soreness he experienced from last weekend. Swallow has been selected as an interchange for the match on Saturday afternoon against the Kangaroos at Etihad Stadium.
