Geelong midfielder Cameron Ling has had scans on his cheekbone which has revealed a depressed fracture and could see him out of action for up to a month.
Ling suffered the injury during the Cats fiery clash against Fremantle at Skilled Stadium on Saturday after a crude hit from Dean Solomon. The 27 year old had surgery on Sunday to repair his cheekbone and will be on the sidelines for Geelong’s two biggest games for the season against the second placed Bulldogs and third placed Hawks.
