Here’s the team-by-team list of players who have received penalties from Round 3 matches.

Players penalised by the MRP

Josh Jenkins (Adelaide) – has received a $1200 fine for making contact with umpire Brendan Hosking.

The MRP assessed it as a first offence making negligent contact with an umpire.

The initial penalty may be reduced to $900 with an early plea.

 

Daniel Marrett (Brisbane Lions) – has received a three match ban and 325 demerit points for striking David Swallow (Gold Coast). This is combined with 46.56 demerit points applicable from last season, taking the total to 371.56 demerit points.

The MRP assessed it as level four striking.

The initial penalty may be reduced to a two match ban and 278.67 demerit points with an early plea.

 

Taylor Adams (Collingwood) – has received a one match ban and 125 demerit points for rough conduct against Joel Selwood (Geelong). This has been combined with 68.75 demerit points applicable from last season, taking the total to 193.75 demerit points.

The MRP assessed it as level one engaging in rough conduct.

The initial penalty may be reduced to a one match ban and 145.31 demerit points with an early plea.

 

Brandon Matera (Gold Coast) – has received a two match ban and 225 demerit points for rough conduct against Jed Adcock (Brisbane Lions).

The MRP assessed it as it as level two engaging in rough conduct.

The initial penalty may be reduced to a one match ban and 168.75 demerit points with an early plea.

 

Steven May (Gold Coast) – has received a one match ban and 125 demerit points for rough conduct against Dayne Zorko (Brisbane Lions). This is combined with 64.06 demerit points applicable from last season, taking the total to 189.6 demerit points.

The MRP assessed it as level one engaging in rough conduct.

The initial penalty may be reduced to a one match ban and 141.80 demerit points with an early plea.

 

Devon Smith (GWS) – has received a one match ban and 125 demerit points for striking Bernie Vince (Melbourne). This is combined with 68.75 demerit points applicable from last season, taking the total to 193.75 demerit points.

The MRP assessed it as level two striking.

The initial penalty may be reduced to a one match ban and 145.31 demerit points with an early plea.

 

Bernie Vince (Melbourne) – has received a $2600 fine for making contact with umpire Ben Ryan.

The MRP assessed it as a first offence making reckless contact with an umpire.

The initial penalty may be reduced to $1950 with an early plea.

 

Jack Riewoldt (Richmond) – has received a reprimand and 80 demerit points for tripping Tom Liberatore (Western Bulldogs).

The MRP assessed it as level one tripping.

The initial penalty may be reduced to a reprimand and 60 demerit points with an early plea.

 

Matt Thomas (Richmond) – has received a one match ban and 125 demerit points for rough conduct against Ryan Griffith (Western Bulldogs).

The MRP assessed it as level one engaging in rough conduct.

The initial penalty may be reduced to a reprimand and 93.75 demerit points with an early plea.

 

Luke Shuey (West Coast) – has received a two match ban and 225 demerit points for striking Tom Curren (St Kilda).

The MRP assessed it as level three striking.

The initial penalty may be reduced to a one match ban with an early plea.

 

Matthew Lobbe (Port Adelaide) – has received $1200 fine for making contact with umpire Jason Armstrong.

The MRP assessed it as a first offence making negligent contact with an umpire.

The initial penalty may be reduced to $900 with an early plea.
