Only one player from Round 4 has been unlucky enough to be penalised by the Match Review Panel this week. The MRP also assessed four other match incidents, which have all been dismissed.

The player penalised by the MRP

Dale Morris (Western Bulldogs) – has received a two match ban and 225 demerit points for tripping Will Hoskin-Elliott (GWS).
The MRP assessed it as Level three tripping.
The initial penality may be reduced to a one match ban and 126.56 demerit points with an early plea.

Players cleared by the MRP

Robert Warnock (Carlton) has been cleared of striking Jake Spencer (Melbourne).
Nick Maxwell (Collingwood) has been cleared of making high contact with Trent Cotchin (Richmond).
Trent Cotchin (Richmond) has been of making rough contact with Clinton Young (Collingwood).
Lance Franklin (Sydney) has been cleared of striking Scott Thompson (North Melbourne).
