The Melbourne Football Club announced on its website that Liam Jurrah will remain sidelined for an additional week as he recovers from wrist surgery.  It is unlikely that Jurrah will return for the Demons until after his expected comeback through the VFL on Saturday May 5.

This means the star goal-kicker will remain absent from the team until at least round 7 of the home-and-away season. While Josh Mahoney has said that Jurrah has been training well, the Melbourne FC football manager admits that they don’t want to take any risks by bringing him back too soon.

For Round Five, the Demons will take on the Saints at the MCG on Saturday night. You can keep track of the Live scores of the Melbourne versus St Kilda match here on AFL Online.
