GWS Giants co-captain Phil Davis has fired up over a Damian Barrett tweet suggesting that the Match Review Panel should have suspended young Giant Tomas Bugg.
Barrett had commented that Bugg had unfairly picked on St Kilda captain Nick Riewoldt and that Bugg should have been given a weeks suspension.
However a cool, calm and collected Phil Davis responded saying that Bugg had never intended to hit Riewoldt and that they should discuss it in person.
Here we go. Yet again. The supposedly freshened up @AFL Match Review Panel starts 2015 like its predecessors, with a wrong decision on Bugg

@barrettdamian @AFL what do you think it should have been?!? He did nothing wrong

“@phildavis_1: @barrettdamian @AFL what do you think it should have been?!? He did nothing wrong” 1 week. He unfairly picked off an opponent

@barrettdamian @AFL Damo, we'll discuss this next time we catch up mate because he didn't intend to hit him at all

While Davis handled himself well, Adelaide star Patrick Dangerfield wanted to see the conversation heat up a little!
@phildavis_1 @barrettdamian @AFL fight fight fight fight…

Fans of both the Giants and the Saints agreed that Barrett was a flog.
