A number of players have already been sidelined by the Match Review Panel ahead of Round One of the 2014 Premiership season beginning this Friday 14th March. Some penalties are carried over from the end of last season, while others apply from the NAB Challenge and practice matches played last week.

Zach Tuohy (Carlton) – has received a reprimand and 93.75 points for striking Stewart Crameri (Western Bulldogs).
The MRP assessed the offence as level two striking.
The initial penalty of a one match ban and 125 demerit points may be reduced to a reprimand and 93.75 demerit points with an early plea.

Michael Walters (Fremantle) – has received a reprimand and 93.75 points for rough conduct against Brant Colledge (West Coast).
The MRP assessed the offence as level one rough conduct.
