AFTER
a disappointing first round loss to the Saints, Sydney have thrashed Port Adelaide by 68 points at the SCG with forward Barry Hall kicking five goals and Michael O’Loughlin snagging four.
After leading by 22 points at half time the Swans slammed on seven goals to one
in the third quarter to take a ten goal lead into the final change. The Swans
dominated the clearences throughout the day with Jude Bolton and Brett Kirk
getting a lot of the ball out of the middle. Craig Bolton stood up across the
half backline taking 14 marks.

Burgoyne was the best for the visitors racking up 19 possessions and kicking
four goals.
